New Challenger For WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, WWE Payback Update

Cesaro defeated Kevin Owens to become the new #1 contender to WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz on tonight's RAW from Los Angeles. The match was made by Shane McMahon.

Cesaro will apparently get his shot at the May 1st WWE Payback pay-per-view in Chicago. No other matches have been confirmed but we will know the main event after tonight's Sami Zayn vs. AJ Styles RAW match. The winner of that match will face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Payback.
