- As noted, Big Show once again issued a WrestleMania 33 challenge to NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal at the ESPN ESPY Awards this week. In the video above, WWE's Cathy Kelley catches up with Kevin Love, Karl-Anthony Towns and other athletes for their predictions.

- Speaking of the ESPY Awards, they drew 5.603 million viewers on ABC. Host John Cena has received a lot of mainstream praise for his performance. Wrestling stars in attendance included Stephanie McMahon, WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, Ric Flair, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Maryse, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, Mark Henry, Nikki Bella, Big Show, Summer Rae, Cryme Tyme and Rey Mysterio. F4Wonline.com notes that WWE officials had Miz and Charlotte walking around with their titles but The New Day did not have to do so. Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes have been in Los Angeles this week and were at an ESPYs gifting event on Tuesday but it appears they did not attend the actual ceremony last night.

- Mustafa Ali is another WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor that worked Wednesday's WWE NXT TV tapings. He faced Hideo Itami for the August 17th episode. As noted, CWC competitors Kota Ibushi and Sean Maluta also worked matches on the tapings, coming out with CWC graphics for their entrances.

- Regarding the WWE Draft that takes place on Tuesday night, F4Wonline.com notes that there are plans to break up some of the tag teams.
