- While Cena has been getting great reviews for his job hosting the show, the numbers were down significantly from last year. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Wednesday's three-hour broadcast averaged 5.6 million viewers, a 27% drop from the 7.7 million viewers that the awards show averaged last year.
