As noted, the WWE Draft takes place this week when SmackDown starts airing live on Tuesday nights. It is the first time in the show's history that it will air live every week on Tuesdays. The show has been taping on Tuesday nights since it first started, however it has always aired on Thursdays or Fridays except for occasional specials that would air live on Tuesdays.
