McGregor and Diaz are set to square off for a second time at welterweight on August 20. Diaz defeated the current UFC featherweight champion earlier this year with a second round rear-naked choke.

- The second Octagon fight for Cris "Cyborg" Justino is now official, as the reigning Invicta FC featherweight champion will headline UFC Fight Night 92 vs. Lina Lansberg from Brazil. It will mark the first main event for the Brazilian in the UFC.

Justino made her debut with the promotion earlier this year, finishing Leslie Smith. Lansberg, who is 6-1 with six consecutive wins and four finishes, will be fighting for the first time under the UFC banner.

The event, which takes place September 24, will also feature Renan Barao vs. Phillipe Nover, Roy Nelson vs. Antonio Silva and Francisco Trinaldo vs. Paul Felder.

- Mirko Cro Cop has created a bit of a fever pitch around the Japanese promotion Rizin and his next possible fight with a poster of himself and Fedor Emelianenko together. It is possible that the two are just going to be on the same September event, as a heavyweight grand prix is scheduled for the remainder of the year.

Rizin previously announced Cro Cop, Wanderlei Silva and others for the tournament, with Emelianenko also being tabbed as a possible entrant. Emelianenko and Cro Cop fought once previously, with "The Last Emperor" earning a decision win in defense of his Pride heavyweight title in 2005. The bout was regarded as the "Fight of the Year" and "Fight of the Decade" by several outlets.
