WWE Superstars Recap: Jack Swagger Gets A Victory, Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn Vs. Curtis Axel
The Superstars opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Jack Swagger and Jinder Mahal make their entrances as Tom Philips and Corey Graves check in on commentary.
Jack Swagger vs. Jinder Mahal
Swagger goes for a leg lock, Mahal grabs the ropes. Swagger hits two modified suplexes before Mahal is able to elbow him in the face. Mahal hits Swagger with several forearms before slamming his head into the turnbuckle. Swagger ducks a clothesline attempt by Mahal and hits a shoulder block on him. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock, but Mahal quickly grabs the ropes. Mahal connects with a kick to the head of Swagger before pinning him for a two count. Mahal punches Swagger several times. Mahal locks in a headlock on Swagger. Swagger reverses a suplex attempt into a suplex of his own on Mahal. Swagger clotheslines Mahal in the corner twice prior to hitting an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Swagger hits the Swagger Bomb before pinning Mahal for a two count. Mahal eventually is able to knee Swagger in the head and pin him for a two count. Mahal goes for an Insiguri, Swagger catches him and locks in the Patriot Lock. Mahal taps out to end the match.

Curtis Axel and Sami Zayn make their entrances.
Curtis Axel vs. Sami Zayn
Axel and Zayn lock up. Axel pushes Zayn into the corner. They lock up again. Zayn fights out of a wrist lock and locks in an arm lock on Axel. Zayn hits several arm drags on Axel. Axel rolls out of the ring. Zayn runs towards Axel, but Axel runs out of the way. Zayn does his springboard backflip. Axel pulls Zayn out of the ring and punches him. Axel throws Zayn toward the ring barrier. Zayn jumps up on to the ring barrier prior to hitting a moonsault on to Axel. Axel sends Zayn into the ring post before getting back into the ring. Zayn rolls back into the ring. Axel stomps Zayn several times. Axel pulls Zayn's arm down on the top rope as Zayn is standing on the ring apron, which sends Zayn back to the outside as we head into a commercial break.
Zayn punches Axel twice, before Axel regains control, attacking Zayn's back and hitting a clothesline to the back of his neck. Axel pins Zayn for a two count. Axel locks in a shoulder submission. Axel puts Zayn on the top turnbuckle and attempts a superplex. Axel fights out it, head butting Axel, sending Axel to the mat. As Zayn jumps off the turnbuckle, Axel dropkicks him out of the air. Axel pins Zayn for a two count. Axel runs at Zayn, Zayn connects with a clothesline. Zayn clotheslines Axel again. Zayn hits an Exploder Suplex on Axel, prior to hitting a spinning DDT. Zayn hits the Helluva Kick on Axel before pinning him for the win.
Winner: Sami Zayn
A recap of the match between Dana Brooke (w/Charlotte) and WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks from RAW featuring Banks getting the win (causing Dana Brooke to be banned from ringside at SummerSlam during her match against Charlotte) is shown to close the show.
