Shinsuke Nakamura On Telling Kenny Omega To Not Use His Move, Samoa Joe, Why He Signed With WWE

As seen above, Brian Fritz of Between the Ropes spoke with Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE 2K17 Launch Party.

Shinsuke Nakamura talks about this being the right time for him to join WWE, his match with Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, his debut against Sami Zayn, hitting waves in Florida, Kenny Omega and the 2016 G1 Climax, WWE 2K17, and more.

* Nakamura says the details in WWE 2K17 are too real. Nakamura also speaks of dream matches playable in the game, such as himself versus Andre the Giant or Macho Man Randy Savage.

* Speaking on his arrival to the WWE, Nakamura says it was the perfect time to make the transition as he completed what he set to do in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Nakamura wanted to find something new, especially in general for his life.

* Nakamura says he has watched a few clips from G1 Climax and later told Kenny Omega to not use his Kinshasa finishing move anymore. Omega used his version, the One Winged Angel, to defeat Tetsuya Naito on Day 18 of G1 Climax. Nakamura is happy for Omega's success and praises his wrestling thinking.

* Speaking on his match at NXT TakeOver Dallas with Sami Zayn, Nakamura was so thankful of the reaction he received from the fans.

* Regarding Samoa Joe, his upcoming NXT TakeOver: Back 2 Brooklyn opponent, Nakamura praises his real wrestling technique. Nakamura also cites Joe's MMA technique, which they both have experience in. Nakamura has high hopes for the match, as it will be interesting combining both of their individual techniques.
