Ric Flair Predicts Winner Of WWE Universal Title Match Scheduled For Monday's RAW

Add Ric Flair to the growing list of wrestling veterans who have given their stamp of approval on the ring skills of Seth Rollins.

On the latest episode of his Ric Flair Show podcast, the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer was asked who he thinks, and who he wants to win the vacant WWE Universal Championship in the Fatal-4-Way match at next Monday's RAW.

"Oh, wow. Give me all the contestants again," said Flair when the four men scheduled for the match (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens & Big Cass) were listed. "I like Seth Rollins."

Flair quickly continued, pointing out that he didn't need to hear all of the names again, as he apparently heard Rollins' name and that was all he needed to hear.

"I'm not gonna budge on that," said Flair. "I don't need to hear it again. I like Seth Rollins."

While at the time, Flair and his co-host, Conrad Thompson, weren't discussing Bret Hart's recent criticism of Seth Rollins' in-ring style, which included his belief that someone could get killed if he continues to wrestle the way he does, "The Nature Boy" did make it clear that he feels Rollins is a talented in-ring performer. In fact, he ranks Rollins as one of the top three wrestlers in the business today.

"I think they all have a lot of talent," said Flair of the four men who will attempt to win the title that Finn Balor was forced to relinquish on last week's RAW. "But Seth Rollins is one of the two or three best in the business right now."

With that, Conrad Thompson brought up the Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles match for the WWE Championship being announced for the SmackDown Live "Backlash" pay-per-view. He said that if Styles were to win, and if Rollins wins the Universal Championship on RAW this coming Monday night as Flair predicted, WWE would have the greatest group of world champions in company history right now.

"I couldn't argue that," said Flair of the list read by Thompson that included Rollins, Styles, Charlotte, Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Episode eight of the Ric Flair Show podcast, which features exclusive interviews with UFC President Dana White and former WWE and TNA star Kurt Angle, is available right now at RicFlairShow.com.
