Demian Maia and Anthony Pettis make their marks on the welterweight and featherweight divisions Saturday night at UFC on FOX 21, claiming submission wins. The event took place from Vancouver, with the main card airing live on FOX.

In the headline bout, it was Maia - a former UFC title contender to the middleweight belt - locked up a first round rear-naked choke on Carlos Condit to earn his sixth consecutive win. The Brazilian has now finished Condit, Matt Brown and Neil Magny in recent months.

Pettis, a former UFC lightweight champion, made his debut at 145 pounds by submitting Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Charles Oliveira in the co-main event. For "Showtime," the win snapped a three-fight losing streak that pushed him to move down a weight class.

Paige VanZant delivered a head-kick finish to Bec Rawlings in her return bout after finishing second on "Dancing With The Stars," while Jim Miller scored a split decision over Joe Lauzon in their lightweight rematch.
