More On What Alberto Del Rio Reportedly Tested Positive For, TNA Interested In Signing Del Rio

We noted earlier that Alberto Del Rio said in an interview with Mexican media that he violated the WWE Wellness Policy for being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which was approved by his doctor. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Del Rio did test positive for elevated testosterone but that he failed a steroid test. While he couldn't say exactly what it was for, he noted that it was for PEDs.

Meltzer also noted that TNA has wanted Del Rio bad. It's believed that TNA does not suspend or fine talents for failing drug tests. Del Rio, who is receiving offers from just about everyone, is looking at working around 60 dates per year and being out of the business in the next two years.
