As seen above, TNA has confirmed that former WWE announcer Brandi Rhodes (Eden) has signed with the company. Josh Mathews confirms that she will be wrestling in the Knockouts division.

Brandi tells Mathews that she's happy to finally be doing battle and has wanted to get in the ring for a while. She believes some will be surprised at her action in the ring but those that have followed her closely know that she's always wanted to get in the ring. The former Eden said it was hard sitting at ringside knowing you can beat someone up but not get the chance to.

Brandi also said she has followed the Knockouts division and that they have always stood out. She also commented on TNA always focusing on the women, despite women's wrestling having a spotlight now. She named strong talents like Gail Kim, Jade, Madison Rayne and Raquel. Regarding skepticism over her getting into the ring, she points to her athletic background and hopes she will change the mind of any doubters.

Rhodes says she's coming to TNA to be the best she can be and that involves the Knockouts Title. No word yet on when she will debut.
