News On Kane's SmackDown Disappearance, Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg Media, More On The Rock's Special

- As seen on SmackDown last night, Kane disappeared during the main event where he teamed with Randy Orton to face Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Orton was about to tag Kane when the lights went out for several seconds. When the lights came back on, Kane was gone and Luke Harper was in the ring.

Glenn Rubenstein, who was at the show, noted on today's episode of the Wrestling Inc. podcast that Kane didn't stay hidden under the ring for too long, as the Main Event tapings followed SmackDown. As soon as SmackDown went off the air, the lights went out for about 10 seconds so that Kane could get out from under the ring and run to the back.

- Alfred Konuwa's latest column at Forbes looks at the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match at the Survivor Series next month and how today's fans are likely to hijack it like the New York fans did in their infamous WrestleMania XX match.

"Fans of The Reality Era have pined for more technical wrestlers, preferably with an independent wrestling pedigree, in the main event as opposed to the more transcendent muscle-bound types who once defined that scene," Konuwa wrote. "WWE has listened. Nobody has watched. Even reports of low attendance at live events have become par for the course."
