- Can Conor McGregor make history and become the first-ever UFC fighter to hold two titles at the same time? We will find out this Saturday night when McGregor challenges Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in the main event.

McGregor, the reigning UFC featherweight champion, would join Randy Couture and BJ Penn as the only fighters to ever hold UFC gold in multiple weight classes. Neither Couture or Penn, though, did it at the same time with both belts.

Alvarez, meanwhile, is the only fighter to date to be champion in both the UFC and Bellator MMA. In the video above is a preview for their fight.

- One of the prelim bouts for Saturday's UFC 205 card was removed on Tuesday, as the New York Athletic Commission denied the fight license for Rashad Evans. The former light heavyweight champion was set to meet Tim Kennedy in his middleweight debut on FOX Sports 1.

Below is a statement on the fight loss by the UFC:

"The UFC organization was notified today that the New York State Athletic Commission has denied Rashad Evans a license to compete at UFC 205 due to a medical issue. Evans' scheduled bout against Tim Kennedy this coming Saturday, November 12 in New York, will be removed from the fight card. However, both athletes will receive their show money. There are currently no plans to replace this bout."

- It didn't take Jon Jones long to find work, as MMAjunkie confirmed with Chael Sonnen that "Bones" will take on Dan Henderson in December at Submission Underground 2. The event is a submission-only grappling tournament that is run under the direction of Sonnen.

Jones was given a one-year suspension on Monday by USADA for his failed July drug test. His opponent, Henderson, retired from MMA last month after a loss to Michael Bisping for the middleweight title.

Back in 2012, Jones was slated to defend his light heavyweight title against Henderson at UFC 151. An injury, though, knocked Henderson out. Officials signed Sonnen to replace him, but Jones declined and the entire card was canceled. Jones later defended his belt vs. Sonnen.
