On transitioning into announcing:

"To see the guys I came up with in the ring bothered me a lot worse before, but now, I think the familiarity lends itself to doing my job better. I was in the ring in FCW and NXT with guys like Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt and that helps me, but it took a lot of time to get to this point. I don't think the love for being in the ring will ever go away and be completely gone, but it's a lot less. I'm enjoying being surrounded by guys I know so well."

About the brand split:

"I think it's still a work in progress. It takes a long time for fans to get acclimated and understand. Even a lot of hardcore WWE fans are not familiar yet with the brand split. It's going to take longer than 4 months. As much as it might be storyline, there is still a friendly competition and something to work for. When I went out there as a wrestler, I wanted to make the next guys top what I did, and I think there is the same mentality for both rosters. It's beneficial for the fans. There is going to need more of an adjustment time, but as a whole, it's really exciting."

Dream match he would like to call:

"Honestly, off the top of my head with the current roster, it would be A.J. Styles vs. Seth Rollins. I know it's happened before on the independents years ago, but A.J. Styles is one of my favorites of all time. I've been in the ring with both of them so I'd say that one. I'd add Brock Lesnar vs. anybody."

Corey also talked about Superstar Ink, his expectations from 205 Live and more. You can read the full interview here.
