As noted, The Undertaker announced on SmackDown last week that he was back. He also indicated that he would be wrestling again before WrestleMania, stating that WrestleMania will no longer define him.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer that there have been discussions regarding WWE Champion AJ Styles facing The Undertaker at The Royal Rumble. Meltzer noted that there may be a timing issue, given that Undertaker is currently going through rehab following his recent hip surgery.

The Royal Rumble takes place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX on Sunday, January 29th. The 1997 Royal Rumble also took place at the Alamodome, and drew 60,477 fans. Matt Morgan, Glenn Rubenstein and myself discussed The Undertaker facing Styles at The Royal Rumble and then defending the WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania on our post-RAW podcast this past Monday night.
