- UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor will be cast in a different light in 2017, as "Notorious" is scheduled to appear on the hit show "Game of Thrones." UFC president Dana White recently confirmed the report.

The show airs on HBO and will be entering season seven next year. It is a fantasy/serial drama based on "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin.

"I knew that a few months ago they were interested in putting him in the show and I'm glad he did it," White said during his interview on FOX Sports 1. "It'll be great. The show's huge, it's awesome and I'm excited for him."

- Donald Cerrone stated after his win at UFC 206 that he wants on the January card in Denver. And Tuesday on Twitter, Cerrone re-assured his stance, sending out an open invitation to any and all members of the UFC's welterweight division.
