It once seemed impossible, but could we actually see a marquee match between Roman Reigns and Dwayne "The Rock' Johnson? During a Q&A session at a Comic Con this past weekend, The Rock seemed more than open to the idea.

Reigns and The Rock are real-life cousins and members of the legendary Anoa'i family. Their only interaction in the WWE was when The Rock helped Reigns win the 2015 Royal Rumble, which still couldn't get him over with the WWE Universe.

When asked which WWE superstar he would want to wrestle today, The Rock had to think about it. Someone in the crowd mentioned AJ Styles, but The Rock refuted that idea, saying, "I love AJ though, he's a real good dude." He said he wouldn't choose just one guy and instead came up with three names.

"One would be Triple H, The Game," he said as the crowd cheered. "The other would be The Beast Brock Lesnar." Then he took a pause, building up the drama, before he took a shot at "The Big Dog."

"The other one would be a guy that actually just needs my foot in his ass, Roman Reigns. Yeah," he said as the crowd went wild.

His smile afterwards could've indicated that he was joking. But a match between The Rock and Reigns is not a farfetched idea. It was just last month that Reigns said he would be open to a match with The Rock at WrestleMania.

"I know it's a money match," Reigns told The Mirror in the UK. "And I'm the guy who is still in the ring, so if someone who isn't in the ring every single night wants to come back in the ring, we now call it my yard, so he is going to have to come to me and then we'll go from there. It won't go down anywhere other than a WWE ring, that's all I'm saying. If he wants to get it, then I'm not stepping back for anybody."
