The size difference here is pretty funny as Sullivan charges in, misses, kicks by Mendoz. On the apron, he goes for a springboard and gets a headbutt to the chest. Sullivan charges in again, splash connects this time. One more for good measure. Big power slam, Mendoza is already out of it. Huge clubbing blows to the side of the head, ref checks on Mendoza. Sullivan hits the freak accident and we're done here.

- William Regal's office, in comes Johnny Gargano who says he knows he belongs in NXT, despite his recent losses. Regal says he has all the faith in the world in him. Regal continues that Pete Dunne has put out an open challenge for anyone to face him and he thinks Gargano would be the perfect opponent. Gargano accepts and the match is on for next week.

- Ranallo, Watson, and McGuinness take us to a preview about the upcoming WarGames match between Sanity, The Undisputed Era, The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong. We get a recap of the teams colliding into each other over the past couple weeks. The recap also shows The Undisputed Era attempting to recruit Strong along the way. Regal decided the only way to settle things is to put these three groups through WarGames.

- At NXT TakeOver: WarGames it will be Peyton Royce, Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross, and Ember Moon for the vacant NXT Women's Championship.

Ember Moon vs. Mercedes Martinez

Moon goes for a double wrist-lock, Martinez quickly out of it. Headlock by Martinez, Moon tries to throw her away, Martinez hangs on by Moon's hair. Shoulder tackle by Martinez and a stomp to Moon's back. Martinez with a big strike, goes for a hip toss, Moon counters and hits an enziguri, goes for a pin, two. Big elbows by Moon, spinebuster by Martinez, tries for a pin, hooks the leg, two-count.

Moon goes for another enziguri, Martinez dodges it and hits a huge chop that sends Moon to the mat in pain. Two snap suplexes followed up by a delayed vertical suplex, pin, two. Martinez can't believe it. Another attempt at a suplex, Moon with a few kicks that slows Martinez down. Hurricanrana by Moon that sends Martinez to the outside, Moon with a hard driving suicide dive that sends Martinez back to the ramp. "NXT!" chant from the crowd after that one. Moon throws her right back in and goes to the top rope, Martinez with a big boot that catches Moon. Running cutter by Martinez, goes for back-to-back pins, only two each time. She looks to finish off Moon who counters with a roll-up. Martinez gets tangled up in the ropes, kick to the back and then stomp to the stomach by Moon. She heads to the top and hits the eclipse for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Ember Moon via Pinfall

- Post-match, out comes Nikki Cross from the crowd. Peyton Royce heads down the ramp, as does Kairi Sane, who taunts from the stage.

- Next week, Ruby Riot vs. Sonya Deville and Johnny Gargano vs. WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne.

- NXT Champion Drew McIntyre heads down to the ring and says it's great when a plan comes together and sarcastically congratulates Andrade "Cien" Almas for getting his title match at WarGames. "Now, you're in trouble," McIntyre says. He continues that the pressure now will mount and he wonders if Almas will be able to deal with it, because McIntyre knows he can, as he holds up the title. He asks Almas to come out and face him - for once - like a man. "Unless, of course, Zelina is going to let you off the leash for the night."

Cue Almas' music. Out strolls Zelina, and only Zelina, as McIntyre isn't impressed with this move. Then comes Almas and he immediately jumps in the ring, the two start swinging away at each other! Zelina jumps off the top rope at McIntyre, he catches, and sets her down. The distraction allows Almas to get in a chop block and he hits the hammerlock DDT. Zelina picks up the NXT Championship and hypes up Almas as he stares at the title. The duo bounce as McIntyre lays in the middle of the ring with his title.
