- Above you can see video of an altercation between UFC fighters Fabricio Werdum and Colby Covington in Australia. Werdum told UOL that Covington, who has a long history of disrespecting the country of Brazil, allegedly called Werdum a "filthy Brazilian" when they walked past each other. Werdum can be seen in the video throwing a boomerang at Covington. Covington decided to press charges and Werdum was charged with common assault, according to MMA Fighting. Werdum is scheduled to fight in the main event of UFC Sydney against Marcin Tybura on Saturday. There's no word yet on if this will affect Werdum's status for the fight.

- UFC 219 finally has a main event. The UFC announced on Twitter that women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will face former women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm in the annual year-end card on Dec. 30. It was originally believed that negotiations for this fight had stalled, with Holm's manager saying talks were "dead," but they were able to come to an agreement on Thursday. Cyborg (18-1, 1 NC) won the vacant title in July when she defeated Tonya Evinger viz third-round TKO at UFC 214. Holm (11-3) is coming off a third-round knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC Singapore in June.

- You can watch the open workouts for UFC Sydney below. Werdum and Tybura were the only fighters to workout. In Saturday's co-main event, Australian strawweights Bec Rawlings and Jessica-Rose Clark will face off.
