Earlier today, NJPW kicked off its World Tag League tournament, showing the entire event for free, which you can check out in the video above. The 16-team tournament is similar to their G1 Climax tournament, two brackets, round-robin styled. The winners of each bracket face off in the finals, the winner of that match gets a future shot at the IWGP Tag Team Championship, currently held by K.E.S. (Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Lance Archer). The tournament will run from November 18 until December 11 with most of the shows being VOD on NJPW World.
