WWE 205 Live Results (12/12): Is The Zo Train Derailing?, Cedric Alexander In Action, Drew Gulak

- Recap of last night's Raw where a second chance Fatal 4-Way took place to find out who would face Drew Gulak to become the next number one contender. Cedric Alexander would go on to win the match.

- Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to tonight's show as they preview Kalisto vs. Jack Gallagher, which will take place later tonight.

Ariya Daivari (with Drew Gulak) vs. Cedric Alexander

Gulak jumps on the mic before the match gets started and hypes his upcoming match against Cedric Alexander. Gulak fully expects to win and then he will go on to face his mentor, Enzo Amore. He then pumps up Daivari and calls Alexander a "Grinch" for stealing his opportunity. Gulak says Noam Dar suffered a knee injury and will be undergoing surgery. To honor his fallen mate he has put together PowerPoint presentation, which never gets started, come on!

Daivari ribs are taped up as we get things going. Gulak yelling at the crowd with his megaphone as Alexander gets his usual strikes in early and drops his opponent. A "Let's go Cedric!" vs. "PowerPoint!" chant breaks out. Alexander with some big chops, gets tossed out to the apron, he springboards in, Daivari dodges out to the floor. Alexander goes to the ropes for a big leap, but Gulak halts him and tells him to stay off the top rope! Daivari runs in from behind and strikes, stomping away at his opponent. Alexander gets tossed the floor, with the ref distracted, Gulak with a big clothesline to lay out Alexander. Action back in the ring, Daivari with a bulldog, quick pin, two.

Alexander drops Daivari in the corner, gets on the apron, huge kick to the face! Springboard clothesline, pin, two. Alexander looking for the lumbar check, gets stopped twice. Big elbow by Alexander, handspring spinning kick, gets caught in midair and spinebuster by Daivari. He goes to head towards the top and Gulak starts yelling at him to get down! "I got this!" yells Daivari as he leaps and hits a big splash, pin, two. Daivari is holding his hurt ribs now though. Alexander recovers and is able to finally hit the lumbar check for the win.

Winner: Cedric Alexander via Pinfall

- Post-match, Alexander and Gulak stare at each other, Alexander then celebrates a bit.

- Recap of Drew Gulak talking with Enzo last night on Raw when Nia Jax showed up to take away Enzo's attention. Nia wants to "talk" when Enzo isn't busy.

- Backstage, Daivari is talking with Gulak and Tony Nese. Enzo shows and says he doesn't recall calling a team meeting. Gulak says he was just giving Daivari some pointers and Enzo barks at Daivari for losing. Gulak apologies for making a joke about beating Enzo for his title. He says he knows his place in the Zo Train, but it's not implausible he could become the Cruiserweight Champion. Enzo says Gulak couldn't hold his mic, let alone his title. Tony Nese tells Enzo to calm down, which Enzo doesn't like at all. Enzo feels like an alliance is being formed and reminds them they are on the Zo Train, he built it, and he built 205 Live! Enzo chills out and says he needs to take a step back and be a better leader. He asks the three guys to be at ringside for his match...against Tony!

Jack Gallagher (with The Brian Kendrick) vs. Kalisto

Before the match, Kendrick gets on the mic and says over one year ago, his Cruiserweight Championship was taken away. He says since then he hasn't been offered a single opportunity to get his title back. While Kalisto is "gifted" opportunities and then squanders them. Jack gets on the mic and says they tried to tell Kalisto to stay away, but if he doesn't, he'll be "springboarding into a spider's nest." Crowd gave these two absolutely nothing. Out comes Kalisto!

Kalisto getting the best of Gallagher in the early exchanges, nice hurricanrana, Kalisto up top with a spinning arm drag that sends his opponent out to the floor. Kalisto hits the ropes and fakes a jump to the outside, Gallagher jumps up on the apron and gets kicked in the face. Kendrick tries to help his partner, but gets kicked too. Kalisto goes for Gallagher, misses, kicks the ring post and hurts his ankle. Ref counts to 9 and he's able to finally jump back in. Gallagher focuses on the ankle now. He puts Kalisto in a tree of woe position and wrenches away at his ankle before slamming his leg down to the mat. More ankle twisting, ref checking on Kalisto, who won't give up.

He finally kicks his way out, but just can't get any offense going in this one. Leg submission in the middle of the ring as Kalisto able to finally break out of it, kick to Gallagher's head and sends him to the floor. Kalisto can barely stand as he launches Gallagher into the second rope, another kick to the face. Kalisto with a hurricanrana that sends Gallagher's mug right to the mat. Slowly gets over for the pin, only two. Gallagher with a thumb to the eye and then a headbutt. Kalisto able to wrap Gallagher up with a surprise pin and gets the victory.

Winner: Kalisto via Pinfall

- Post-match, Kendrick with a chop block to send Kalisto right back to the mat. The duo looks to cause more damage, but in runs Gran Metalik. He springboards in and hits a double drop kick. Arm drag sends Kendrick out and Gallagher gets a superkick for his trouble. Kalisto with a Salida del Sol on Gallagher.

- Backstage, Enzo heads to the ring and Gulak tries to get the champ to call the match off. Enzo says not to stress. Gulak says then why fight Tony? Gulak says "Who said anything about a fight?" and that it's going to be a good learning experience for everyone.

Tony Nese vs. Enzo Amore (with Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari)

Enzo on the mic who promotes the upcoming 205 Live shows that will take place in 2018. He says the Zo Train is an unbreakable unit and anyone who thinks differently is soft. Crowd finally waking up after about forty-six minutes in. Nese doesn't seems so excited to have this match as Enzo loosens up. Enzo yells at Nese and says "You want to have a technical match?" and asks him to watch how fast his feet are and does a little dancing. Nese doesn't want to fight, and Enzo yells at him for talking behind his back. Crowd yells "beat him up!" as Enzo finally slaps Nese, which seems to flip a switch with Nese. Enzo continues yelling as Nese looks like he's about to punch a hole through Enzo. Daivari suddenly jumps in and hits Nese from behind.

Winner: Tony Nese via DQ

- Post-match, both Enzo and Daivari start stomping away as Gulak looks on. Enzo yells at Nese to remember who the leader is as they continue to beat him up. Gulak watches on from ringside. Enzo says he's the conductor of the Zo Train and Nese should know his place. Enzo goes to hit his finisher (crowd boos) and he looks over at Gulak. Enzo then stops and tells Gulak to prove his worth and get into the ring. Gulak doesn't think Gulak deserves this, but he finally gets in the ring. Enzo taunts Gulak, "do something!" Gulak finally gets nose-to-nose with Enzo and ends up kicking Nese right in the face. He instantly isn't happy with what he did. Enzo wants more as Gulak beats up Nese. Crowd getting restless with a "this is boring!" chant, and yet, they are reacting more to this segment than any other one in the show. Enzo finally hits his finisher to close out things out, Gulak continues to pout.
