Justin Credible And Wrestling Promotion Comment On Weekend Incident

On Friday at a Blitzkrieg! Pro wrestling show in Enfield, CT, Justin Credible showed up to the event to do a pre-show signing and in-ring promo, but was clearly not fit to make an appearance, which can be seen in the video below. Please note, there's some strong language in it.

Initially demanding a microphone and slurring his words, Credible ended up hijacking the show while other wrestlers tried to get him to head out of the ring. At one point, one of wrestlers told Credible not to "show up drunk and get the hell out of our show." He was eventually ushered away by many of the other wrestlers and the event continued on, but Credible did return to ringside for a few moments before leaving again.

On Twitter, Credible commented on his relapse, saying it's time to "pick up the ball and start all over again" and apologized for what happened.

The promotion also put out a statement about what happened at the show, saying that Credible showed up to the event under the influence. They continued that Credible took it upon himself to get in the ring, and in retrospect the promotion wished they handed some things better. Ultimately, they wanted a safe environment for their fans, wished Credible luck in finding the help he needs, and planned on raising money for a local non-profit organization that works with substance abuse at their next event. You can see their full statement below:

Beginning his wrestling career in 1992, Credible worked for the WWE between 1994 and 1997, then headed off to ECW until 2001. He returned to WWE from 2001 until 2003 and made another brief run with the company in 2006.
