Mark Henry is a top star for WWE's Smackdown! brand. Henry signed a 10 year deal with WWE in 1996 as WWE sponsored Henry in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Henry has been in and out of the top tier since then. Despite being near the top of the roster for many years, the only major title Henry has held in WWE was the now defunct WWE European Championship, when it was given to him by then European champion Jeff Jarrett.
