WWE Survivor Series: Dolph Ziggler Vs. John Morrison (US Title)

- Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. John Morrison

The bell rings and we're ready to begin. The crowd is chanting that they want Ryder. Both men lock up and Dolph takes Morrison down to the mat and slaps at the back of his head before bailing to the outside to avoid Morrison's ire. Ziggler heads back into the ring and we get another lock up. Both men try for hammerlocks before Morrison takes Ziggler down to the mat with an arm bar. Ziggler fights off Morrison and beats and stomps on him in the corner.

Morrison avoids a charging Ziggler in the corner but eats a dropkick anyway. Ziggler takes Morrison over with a side head lock and the crowd is still chanting about Ryder. Morrison breaks the hold but falls to a shoulder block. Morrison is back on his feet and he tries for a hip toss but Ziggler lands on his feet. Morrison grabs his legs, slingshots him into the corner and sends him over the top rope. Morrison follows to the outside with a corkscrew plancha over the top before sending Ziggler back into the ring.

Morrison argues with Guerrero on the outside before getting back into the ring and the distraction allows Ziggler to hit a neck breaker for a near fall. Ziggler hits a beautiful high elbow drop. He gloats to the crowd before taking Morrison over with a fireman's carry for another near fall. Ziggler tries to wear JoMo down with a rear chin lock.

Morrison is able to fight up to his feet and out of the hold before being slammed back down to the mat by his hair. Ziggler kicks at Morrison, taunting and slapping him as well. Ziggler chokes Morrison with his boot while pulling on his hair. Ziggler slaps Morrison across the face, and this enrages Morrison, leading to him putting Ziggler in the corner and pounding away. The ref breaks things up and this allows Ziggler to hit an awesome suplex for another near fall.

Ziggler goes for the sleeper but Morrison tosses him off. Morrison hits a couple of clotheslines, a big kick to the jaw, and a neckbreaker for a near fall of his own. Ziggler kicks at Morrison's shins before going for a roll up with the tights. Morrison kicks out and he's able to connects with a springboard kick to the side of Ziggler's head for another two count. Morrison goes for a neckbreaker but he's pushed off. Ziggler goes for a head scissors, but floats around into a sleeper. Morrison reverses into a sleeper of his own, and when Ziggler fights it off Morrison hits a huge DDT, but Guerrero gets Ziggler's foot on the ropes to break the count. The ref sees it, so he sends Vickie to the back.

Vickie is furious, screaming the whole way to the back. Morrison picks Ziggler up and tries for a suplex but it's blocked by Ziggler, countered into a roll up for two. Morrison goes for a kick to the face but Ziggler moves and both men trade roll ups. Ziggler connects with the rocker dropper and goes for a pin but he still can't get three.

Ziggler goes for the sleeper again but he's shrugged off. Morrison hits a big knee to the side of Ziggler's head. Morrison goes for starship pain, but Ziggler gets his knees up and Morrison crashes into them. Ziggler connects with the Zig Zag, getting the three count and retaining his title.

Winner and STILL US Champion: Dolph Ziggler

Following the match Vickie runs right down to the ring to celebrate with her client/boyfriend. Vickie has the mic and she wants the crowd to excuse her before handing the mic to Ziggler. Ziggler says he'd hate to follow that. He says some people think he's a showoff, but it's not showing off if you back it up every night. The crowd is still chanting for Ryder, but Ziggler says he's not even here. Ziggler says he's not showing off, he's just really really good at what he does.

Ziggler's music is interrupted by Zack Ryder. Ryder gets ambushed right after getting into the ring, but Ryder fights back and connects with the Rough Ryder to send Ziggler out of the ring. Ziggler leads the crowd in a chant of 'woo woo woo', and he's got these fans more amped up than the whole first match (and that match was really good, too)
