WWE Live Event Results From Nottingham, England (4/15) - Cena & Punk Celebrate Vickie's Birthday

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Jordan Tams for sending in these results from tonight's RAW live event in Nottingham, England:

The show appeared to be nearly sold out, with only a few empty seats that were visible. Justin Roberts opened the show, introducing the first match for the WWE Team Tag Team Championships. John Laurinaitis came out and changed it to a non-title match.

R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs. Epic & Primo (w/ Rosa Mendes)
Crowd was really behind Truth and Kofi, with a lot of "Little Jimmy" and "Kofi" chants. Kofi makes the hot tag to Truth, who hits Epico with the Little Jimmy for the win after Kofi threw Primo to the outside. Soild 6-8 minute match with moments of comedy with Truth and Little Jimmy.

WWE Divas Title: Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Kelly Kelly (w/ Eve as special guest referee)
Mixed reaction when both came out. Crowd was dead during match with chants of "boring" and "you can't wrestle" aimed at Kelly. Kelly reversed the Glam-Slam, but Eve stopped counting after a two-count. Kelly got in Eve's face, allowing Phoenix to hit the Glam-Slam for the pin.

Alex Riley vs Lord Tensai
Squash match for Tensai, who came out to VERY loud chants of "Albert" and "A-Train," which at one point during the match he acknowledged. No one knew who Riley was. Ref stopped the match after Tensai hit Riley with his swinging side-walk slam.

United States Championship: Santino Marella (c) vs. David Otunga vs. The Miz
Miz came out to the loud boos and cut a very good promo on how he is the most must see WWE superstar on the roster and how we all in England should be bowing down to see him. He did the loudest / longest held 'awesome' catchphrase I've heard him do in recent months, which many around me and the rest of the arena clapped for. Santino came out to a loud pop, and again, not many knew who Otunga was. Otunga and Miz doubled teamed Santino for the majority of match until Miz hit Otunga with a right hand. Santino hit the Cobra on Miz to get the victory after he threw Otunga out to the mat.

Intermission.

Brodus Clay vs. JTG
JTG came out to no reaction, as again, no one knew who he was. Brodus came out to a loud pop with many people in the crowd dancing in their seats. Longer match than expected, with JTG actually knocking Clay off his feet. This lead to nothing as Brodus went through his moves and finished with the big splash for the pin. Brodus and the dancers got some kids out the crowd to dance in the ring after the match.

Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder & John Cena
Vickie came out shouting "excuse me" to very loud heat. She introduced Swagger and Ziggler to mixed reactions, with mostly boos. Then out came Ryder to a loud pop, and he had his flip cam with him. Cena came out to the largest reaction of the night with a mix of boos and cheers and the usual "let's go Cena/Cena sucks" chant (which happened throughout the match). Match took time getting going due to Ziggler's showboating. Ryder made a hot tag to Cena who went through his moves and had Ziggler up for the AA until Swagger broke it up. Vickie interfered, only for Cena to kiss her. Swagger and Ziggler got back in the ring only for Cena and Ryder to hit their finishers at the same time for what seemed to be a double pin (not sure why because Cena and Ziggler were the legal men). Good match with Ziggler bumping like a machine as always. Ryder at one point seemed to hit Swagger with a Stone Cold Stunner, which drew many laughs from the crowd.

WWE Championship: CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho in a no DQ match
Jericho came out to fairly large heat, but there were some cheers and chants of "Y2J." Punk came out to the biggest clear pop of the night. Jericho cut a promo calling the crowd "limeys" and saying how they need to stop chanting CM Punk's name. This lead to Punk jumping Jericho and putting a beat down on him in the corner.

Best match of the night with Jericho and Punk showing their class. At one point the crowd changed "we want tables" so Punk went under the apron to look but couldn't find any, so he asked the crowd if a chair was ok. The crowd laughed at that one. Action headed to the outside with steel steps, a kendo stick and more chairs being involved. Back in the ring and Punk had Jericho in the Anaconda Vice only for David Otunga to interfere, which lead to Jericho hitting the codebreaker but Punk kicked out off at 2 1/2. Otunga then interfered again, only to receive a kick to the head from Punk which then lead to him hitting Jericho with the GTS for the pin.

After the match Vickie came out again to massive heat and said that she wanted someone to deal with CM Punk – so out came Ziggler and Swagger who started to beat him down. Crowd started chanting for Cena, who came out with Zack Ryder for the save. Punk then grabbed a mic and said to Vickie that Cena had a few words for her. Cena said that he felt the passion in their kiss earlier but wanted to apologize if she would get in the ring. Vickie climbed into the ring and Cena said sorry, but then broke out of character and said that it was Vickie's Birthday and that we should all sing Happy Birthday to her (which the crowd did). Kelly Kelly brought a cake down to the ring as Cena had Vickie's back turned and CM Punk planted the cake in her face, which drew huge laughs from the crowd and Cena. Cena and Punk then hugged Vickie and waved to the crowd to send them home happy.
