WWE SmackDown Results: Daniel Bryan Vs. Seth Rollins, Orton Vs. RVD, HHH Town Hall Meeting

- We begin with a recap of Monday; Cody getting fired and the Triple H power trip.

- There is red carpet in the ring. Hunter, Vickie, and Brad Maddox are in the ring. Superstars are on the stage. (I'm having technical difficulties with my satellite feed.)

RVD speaks up from the stage. He says he gets a vibe that is "not cool, dude." Hunter says he has waited since 2000 to hear RVD call him dude. Ryback is tired of being called a bully. Triple H makes Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler. Triple H says Daniel Bryan's ego is too big to be on the stage. Triple H says Bryan can choose any member of the Shield to face tonight. Kofi had spoken up so Hunter rewards him with a non-title match with Curtis Axel. Rob Van Dam will face Randy Orton, next. Hunter introduces Orton to the ring.

Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam

Alberto Del Rio has joined commentary. RVD goes to work in the corner with shoulder thrusts. RVD gets a near fall. Van Dam drops a leg on the apron and a kick to the face of Orton from up top. Orton hits his signature powerslam to shift the momentum. He begins to stomp RVD on the canvas. RVD comes back with a spinning dropkick for 2. Orton takes control back and slows the pace on the mat. Van Dam with a split-legged moonsault for 2.

The action goes to the floor. RVD lays Orton out on the security wall but Orton avoids the kick from in the ring and RVD's leg crashes on the barricade. Orton starts to stomp RVD in the ring. He poses but gets RVD chants. RVD hits the ropes and Orton catches him with a dropkick. Orton tosses RVD to the floor to obviously piped-in "ooohs" from the crowd. We cut to commercial.

Orton is in control in the ring with a headlock as we return to action. RVD comes back with a combination for 2. Orton takes RVD's legs out and rolls him up for 2. Orton with a neckbreaker. Orton with the ropes-DDT. More "fake" fan reactions. Orton coils, RVD kicks him in the head and almost pins him. Rolling Thunder from RVD; he goes up top but misses with the 5-Star. RVD rolls to the floor. Orton chases Ricardo away. Del Rio sends Ricardo into the steel post. RVD dives onto Del Rio from inside the ring. Orton throws RVD into the announce table and hits a DDT from the apron to the floor.

The crowd legitimately chants "this is awesome." Orton hits the RKO for the win.

Winner by pin: Randy Orton

Orton raises the title over his head and heads to the back. RVD is laid out on the mat as Del Rio starts to stomp him. Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker as the ref tries to get him off and RVD taps. Del Rio raises his title. Cole sells their match at Night of Champions.

- Renee Young interviews Daniel Bryan in the back. He says he was told not to go on the stage and he does not feel he is better than anybody. He says he will let The Shield decide who will face him because we all know they will get involved anyway.

- AJ Lee tells the Divas in the back, Layla, Alicia Fox, and Aksana, that she would rather defend the title against any of them instead of the Total Divas. They all talk amongst themselves.

- Back from a break to footage of Dean Ambrose attack on Dolph Ziggler from Monday. Cole wonders if Dean was told to by Triple H. (No Cole, The Shield are outlaws. SMH, They are ruining a great gimmick.)

Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dean Ambrose appears out of nowhere to join commentary. Cole hops up from his chair and Ambrose talks him down and tells him to relax. Ryback goes to work on dominating Ziggler. Ambrose says The Shield does what is good for business. Ziggler hits the Fame-asser for 2. Ryback knocks Ziggler to the floor and goes to tackle him but Ziggler moves and Ryback crashes into the steel steps. Ziggler charges at Ambrose who runs. Ryback is waiting with a Meat Hook that takes Ziggler's head off. Ryback sends Ziggler back in and hits Shell Shocked for the win.

Ambrose hops over the barricade and shakes his head like he is disappointed in Ziggler or something.

- Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel are on the way out.

- Kofi Kingston makes his entrance followed by Paul Heyman with Curtis Axel (see what I did there?) We cut to CM Punk's comments from Monday.

Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel

Heyman is noticeably unshaven as he looks on from the floor. Curtis Axel gets cheers from the hometown crowd. Axel and Kofi exchange holds as they jockey for position. Kofi hits a dropkick and Axel goes out and puts his head in Heyman's shoulder for advice. Kofi stays in control in the ring with fast offense. Axel goes out to regroup again; they mix it up on the floor. Heyman distracts Kofi and Axel hits a low-blow on the apron as we go to commercial.

Back to action in the ring as Kofi is back in control. We get dueling Axel and Kofi chants. Axel cuts Kofi off with a lariat and takes back over. The crowd calls for the Perfect Plex. Kofi creates space and comes back with a flurry. Kofi leaps and Axel catches him with a dropkick in mid-air. (Wow.) Kofi hits SOS out of nowhere for the win.

The crowd erupts as Paul Heyman drops the Intercontinental Title at ringside and the look on his face is priceless; as always.

- We go to a promo from Bray Wyatt about Icarus and Kane.

- Renee Young stops Heyman in the back and asks what if Punk beats Axel the way he got beaten tonight? Heyman says tonight was his mistake but if Punk got a hold of him, he would break him limb from limb. He says his worst is worse than Punk's worst. Young presses him about getting the beating of his life. Heyman slams a door and leaves in a rage.

Brie Bella vs. Naomi

Nikki and Cameron are at ringside. The action spills to the floor after some back and forth. AJ and the rest of the Divas do a run-in. They beat down The Bellas and The Funkadactyls. AJ grabs a mic and announces herself as the WWE Divas champion. (AJ needs some more-sinister music. Maybe it could change in the middle like Doink's used to. It would fit with her unstable character. But that happy poppy dance song needs to go. It takes you out of the moment when she does something sinister.)

- A Los Matadores vignette runs.

- The Real Americans are in the ring. Zeb Colter has everybody do the "We the People." The Usos make their entrance.

Cesaro starts things right off with a dropkick to Uso's face and tosses him out and tags Swagger. Swagger brings him back in and they double team him in the corner. Cesaro comes back in and they continue to take Uso apart, isolating him. Uso launches Swagger to the floor and makes the tag to his brother, Jey. Jey dives onto Cesaro, over the top on the floor. He goes up top and hits a shoulder to Cesaro in the ring. Uso gets 2 before Swagger makes the save. Jey hits a kick to the face of Cesaro and goes up top but Swagger pushes him off into an uppercut from Cesaro. Cesaro makes the pin.

Winners by pin: The Real Americans

- Triple H and Big Show have words in the back. Triple H says he is going to let Show get some of the rage out of him. He wants Show to go out there and treat 3MB like human stress balls.

- They show the footage of Big Show being forced to KO Bryan from RAW.

- 3MB are in the ring. The Big Show makes his entrance. He walks out with a purpose.

The Big Show vs. 3MB

Show squashes them all in and out of the ring. He manhandles Jinder Mahal on the floor and spears Drew McIntyre. JBL say they could be 13MB and Big Show will still do this. Show hits a double chokeslam on Mahal and Drew in the ring. Show stops Heath Slater from escaping and this the KO. Show covers Slater for the win.

The Shield's music hits as Show goes up the ramp. He stops, Triple H comes out and escorts him to the back. The Shield are at ringside as we go to break.

The Shield are in the ring as Daniel Bryan's music hits and the crowd goes nuts. Roman Reigns gets in Bryan's face like he is going to face him but Seth Rollins attacks Bryan from behind.

Bryan recovers and turns things around on Rollins. Rollins tosses him to the floor at the feet of Reigns and Ambrose. Rollins kicks Bryan in the head on the apron and gets 2 in the ring. Bryan comes back and they trade shots in the center. Bryan hits a German Suplex and Rollins lands on his head. Bryan hits a running dropkick to the corner. He goes up top and hits a missile dropkick and gets 2 on Rollins.

Bryan his Yes Kicks to a kneeling Rollins. Bryan goes up top but Rollins hits an Enzuigiri and Bryan falls to the floor. Reigns takes Bryan's head off with a flying clothesline at ringside. Rollins goes up top and flies but Bryan catches him with the Yes Lock in mid-air, in the ring. Bryan fights off Ambrose and Reigns. Bryan hits a running knee out of the corner to Rollins for the win.

Winner by pin: Daniel Bryan

Michael Cole goes nuts that Bryan won. Bryan celebrates on the stage. Randy Orton blindsides him with the title and then stands over him with the championship raised over his head. The crowd chants, "Randy sucks" as we go off the air.
