Backstage News On Alberto Del Rio Returning To MMA, Which ROH Stars He Asked To Work With, More

We noted before that Bellator MMA is in talks with the former Alberto "El Patron" Del Rio about coming in. It appears Del Rio will be making a return to the MMA world. There is said to be another promotion besides Bellator that is currently trying to sign him. Del Rio is expected to take the better money deal.

Regarding the former WWE Champion's upcoming Ring of Honor run, he specifically asked to work a match with ACH because he thinks ACH is a really talented wrestler and he's from San Antonio. Del Rio also asked to work matches with Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly.

ROH is looking at doing Del Rio vs. Jay Lethal for their March 1st pay-per-view.
