Jon Jones Punished By UFC, Bellator After An MMA Legend, UFN 59 Weigh-In Results

- UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been punished for his cocaine use, which was a violation of the UFC's code of conduct policy.

Jones has been fined $25,000 for the out-of-competition offense. In comparison, the Nevada State Athletic Commission fined Melvin Guillard $2,100 for an in-competition failure for cocaine in 2007, in addition to an eight month suspension.

- Strikeforce President Scott Coker said that the company has had conversations with PRIDE FC/UFC legend Mirko "CroCop" Filipovic.

"We had several conversations, but I'm not sure to what extent he's ready to come to America and fight," Coker said. "But we've had some conversations."

The 40-year old CroCop won the K-1 World Grand Prix in controversial fashion in 2013. Last year, CroCop won the Inoki Genome Federation championship, a title in which can be defended in both pro wrestling and MMA contests.
