New TNA X Division Champion Crowned On Tonight's Impact Wrestling, Title Vs. Title Next Week
Eddie Edwards won an Ultimate X match over former champion Mike Bennett, Trevor Lee, Rockstar Spud, Mandrews, Andrew Everett, DJ Zema Ion and Braxton Sutter on tonight's Impact Wrestling to become the new TNA X Division Champion.
This is Eddie's second run with the X Division Title as his first began at the June 12th Slammiversary pay-per-view. He lost the title to Bennett just a few days later, at tapings for an episode that aired on June 21st.
Edwards later chose to cash in his X Division Title for a chance to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley in a title vs. title match on next week's Impact.
