The Main Event opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) and The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) make their entrances as Tom Philips and David Otunga check in on commentary.

Jordan and English start the match. Jordan locks in a headlock. Gable tags in. Gable monkey flips English. English elbows Gable in the face. Gable hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on English. Gotch enters the ring, as does Jordan. Jordan dropkicks Gotch. Gable briefly locks in an arm submission on English. English eventually sends Gable off the apron into the barricade at ringside. English tags Gotch. English and Gotch roll Gable back into the ring. Gotch pins Gable for a two count. Gotch strikes Gable before tagging English back in. English strikes Gable. English kicks Gable before tagging Gotch back in. Gotch hits a knee drop on Gable and pins him for a two count. Gotch briefly lock in a headlock, Gable sends Gotch to the ropes. Gable and Gotch collide. English tags back in. Gable ducks a double clothesline attempt prior to sending Gotch out of the ring. Gable tags Jordan back in. Jordan dropkicks English. Gotch gets back in the ring. Jordan suplexes Gotch. Gable is tagged back in. Jordan and Gable hit Grand Amplitude on English. Gable pins English for the win.

Crews hits the ropes before hitting a shoulder block on Hawkins. Crews dropkicks Hawkins before pinning him for a two count. Hawkins eventually is able to strike Crews. Crews hits an arm drag on Hawkins. Hawkins rolls out of the ring. Crews hits a moonsault on Hawkins from the apron as we head into a commercial break.

Crews locks in an armlock on Hawkins as we return from commercial. Hawkins eventually sends Crews into the ropes. Hawkins punches Crews several times. Hawkins hits a side Russian leg sweep on Crews before pinning him for a two count. Hawkins locks in a headlock on Crews, Crews fights out of it. Hawkins suplexes Crews. Hawkins pins Crews for another two count. Hawkins locks in a cross face on Crews. Hawkins sends Crews into the corner. Hawkins runs at Crews, Crews connects with a boot to the face though.
