Triple H On If A Match With The Rock Will Happen, Conor McGregor Ripping WWE, Ronda Rousey

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's busy Hollywood schedule has kept him away from competing in a WWE ring since 2013, but that hasn't stopped fans for clamoring for a dream match between him and Triple H. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Triple H said he is open to the idea of welcoming The Rock back for a friendly competition.

The Rock last wrestled at WrestleMania 29 when he lost the WWE Championship to John Cena, not counting his 6 second match against Erick Rowan at WrestleMania 32. After sustaining legitimate injuries, he hinted at possible retirement but didn't rule out a possible return to the ring. He has made sporadic appearances in the WWE since his last match. A potential match with Triple H would be a battle between the last remnants of the Attitude Era, so fans would love to see it and Triple H would love to make it happen.

"Dwayne and I started our careers together, I've probably fought him more than anybody," he said. "I've said it before, I'd love to dance with 'The Great One' one more time.

As the person in charge of finding new talent for the WWE, Triple H always has his eyes on potential future superstars. Two of the biggest names that have been rumored to be entering the squared circle are Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey, and Triple H spoke about the possibilities of them joining the WWE

McGregor, the current UFC lightweight champion, has been rumored to be in talks for an appearance at WrestleMania next year. UFC president Dana White has shot down those rumors, but that didn't rule out an opportunity for a future appearance down the line. Triple H said it would be a difficult transition for McGregor if he made his way into the WWE because of the comments he made in the past about the current superstars.

"Conor McGregor has said a lot of stuff about WWE in the past–I don't have a problem with it because he said I was a Don, which is great–but he said a lot of stuff about our talent in the past," he said. "[If] Conor McGregor comes in, it's not gonna be an easy go."

On the subject of Rousey, however, Triple H was much more receptive to the idea of doing business with her. The former UFC women's bantamweight champion is a longtime fan of the WWE and appeared at the Mae Young Classic this summer to support her friend and fellow "Four Horsewomen" teammate, Shayna Baszler. Charlotte Flair even called her out. Triple H said he believes Rousey will be open to negotiations and he hopes to speak with her soon.

"She is very interested in our business, always has been a huge fan, that's where the 'Rowdy Ronda' came from," Triple H said. "I think she's interested in the opportunity, I'm interested in offering her the opportunity, so we have some talking do."
