John Cena Box Office Update, How Are "Jumanji" Reviews?, Cena On How Big His Wedding Will Be (Video)

- Yahoo! News interviewed John Cena, who was promoting his new animated movie, Ferdinand. During the interview, which you can watch in the video above, Cena was asked why he proposed to Nikki Bella in a WWE ring after defeating The Miz & Maryse at WrestleMania 33 this past April.

"I proposed in the middle of the WWE ring, the place to establish [that you're] the tough guy," Cena said. "I could have [proposed] a bunch of different ways, but [the WWE audience is] my family. And I wanted to do something that I'd remember for the rest of my life, in front of my family."

Cena also noted that his guest list for the wedding would be small, while Nikki's would be "very large" because of the size of her family.

"I don't want the day to be a bunch of introductions to people that I'm only vaguely familiar with," Cena said. "So I think overall it's going to be average size."

- Speaking of Ferdinand, we noted that it was projected to open with $12.3 million this past weekend against Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It ended up opening slightly better that that, bringing in $13.3 million, enough for second place. Original estimates had the movie opening at $15 million. Star Wars: The Last Jedi opened with $220 million, which is the second largest opening weekend of all time behind the $248 million opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015.

- Cena will be competing against his former WWE rival The Rock at the box office this week, as Jumanji opens this Wednesday. Early estimates are that it will bring in $60 million during its opening weekend. It has been generating positive reviews so far, as it is currently sits at an 83% at movie review aggregator site, RottenTomatoes.com (a 60% is considered good). If that number stands, it would be the second best reviewed movie of The Rock's career, behind Moana (96%). Ferdinand is currently at a 73%.
