Impact Wrestling "Emergence" (Night 1) Results: Three Blockbuster Championship Matches, More

Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcome fans to night one of Emergence! We begin the show with an X-Division three-way match!

Chris Bey (c) vs. TJP (w/Fallah Bahh) vs. Rohit Raju (X-Division Championship)

Right before the bell rings, TJP flies over the top rope to take out Chris Bey and Rohit Raju. The bell officially rings. Raju and TJP are back in the ring. Bey jumps on top of the apron and rolls TJP away from him. TJP plants a head scissors takedown on Bey. Bey comes off the second rope with a leg drop. Raju rolls back in and watches on as Bey stomps TJP on the mat. Bey sends TJP towards the ropes. TJP catches himself up in the ropes. TJP is looking for a sharpshooter on Bey. TJP bridges across Bey, but Raju breaks it up. Raju holds TJP. TJP kicks Bey in the midsection then puts both men in a double submission. TJP rolls through. Raju breaks an attempted arm lock on Bey.

Bey sends Raju into the corner towards TJP. TJP gets out of the corner, but fails at connecting a tornado DDT. TJP springboards off the second rope. He doesn't go for a pin just yet. TJP reverses and catches Bey with a tombstone piledriver. TJP heads to the top rope. Raju pushes him off. TJP runs back up. Bey puts TJP up on his shoulders in the electric chair position. TJP surprisingly lands a superplex on Raju. TJP keeps his offense strong with a double arm submission on Bey and Raju. Both men find a way out. Raju builds up some momentum after landing a series of strikes on TJP, but that momentum dissolves. Bey puts TJP in the gut wrench position. Bey gets a near fall on TJP.

TJP smashes Bey down on the mat with a double arm hook slam. Bey rolls TJP up into a schoolboy pin. TJP gets his shoulders up at 2. TJP locks Bey up. Raju comes in to help his friend break out of the hold. TJP connects a solid dropkick. Raju is now up on the top rope. He turns on Bey by landing a double stomp off the top rope! Raju picks up the win on Bey and becomes the new X-Division Champion!

Winner: Rohit Raju

Post-Match: Raju climbs up on the top rope to show off his newly earned gold!

After that hard-hitting match, we head on over to Wrestle House! We see Mr. Mundo having a conversation with Crazzy Steve's monkey. Steve loves messing with his roommates. Next, Acey Romero is drawn to a horrible stench. He finds out that it's Larry D's new cologne that he calls "Ring Rust." He's doing everything he can to impress Rosemary.

Back from the break, The Good Brothers are more than ready for their match against Ace Austin and Madman Fulton tonight.

After Rayne and Mathews run through tonight's card, we head back to the ring for another big title match!

Moose (c) vs. Trey Miguel (TNA World Heavyweight Championship)

The bell rings. Moose grabs Trey Miguel by the neck then throws him over to the corner. Moose lands a nasty chop on Trey before we cut to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Trey springboards off the top rope only to be caught with a dropkick from Moose. Trey flies right out of the ring. Moose meets him out there with a chop followed by a drop on top of the apron. Both men climb back into the ring. Moose sends Trey for a ride across the ring. Moose shouts, "I'm the best wrestler in the world," while Trey is lying there on the mat. Trey is laying on the ropes. Moose throws down a series of forearm shots. Trey is starting to look spent after Moose throws him again. Moose walks over to Trey. Trey finds his offense for a mere second by throwing a few shots and kicks. But, it was short-lived after Moose grabs his face.

Moose corners Trey. Trey lands on his feet and sends Moose off his rocker with a superkick followed by a standing flip. Trey counters Moose again with a beautiful DDT. Trey flips out of the ring only to be caught by Moose, who powerbombs him off the apron. The referee begins his count. Trey rolls back in at 9. Moose sets up for Lights Out. Trey counters it the first time but not the second time. Moose grabs the pin and retains his championship.

Winner: Moose

Post-Match: EC3 creeps up from behind and attacks Moose. He grabs the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and leaves the ring.

Backstage: Reno Scum brings Hernandez his money. Hernandez has another assignment for them.

Back from the break, we see a vignette from Eric Young.

Speaking of Young, we see an old match of his for this week's Impact Plus Moment. It's him vs. Kurt Angle from 2015.

Backstage: Jimmy Jacobs asks Willie Mack where his head's at after Young attacked his friend Rich Swann as well as how he's recovering from their match last week. As Mack is about to answer, Brian Myers hijacks the camera, along with Jacobs, and asks to be interviewed. Myers has a lot of pent up frustration since leaving WWE, and he makes it known in his interview.

We head back to the ring for a non-title tag team match!

Ace Austin & Madman Fulton vs. The Good Brothers

Karl Anderson and Ace Austin start the match. Anderson lands a nice back elbow towards the back of Austin's head. Anderson goes to work with several shots towards Austin's face. Anderson makes the tag to Doc Gallows. Gallows smashes his elbow into Austin's face. Gallows tags Anderson back in. Austin rolls Anderson up into a schoolboy pin. Anderson gets his shoulders up at 2. Austin tags in Madman Fulton. Fulton sends Anderson in the corner before Austin grabs a quick tag. Anderson spears Austin towards his corner to get a tag in from Gallows. Austin ducks out in time. Fulton and Gallows stand toe-to-toe. These two powerhouses exchange shots. Gallows corners Fulton with a series of midsection shots. Fulton drives Gallows' head into the turnbuckle. Fulton lands a few body shots before bringing Austin back in.

Gallows tags Anderson back in. Anderson takes his eyes off of Austin for one second. Because of that, Anderson goes flying after receiving a dropkick. Fulton grabs in a tag. Fulton stomps away at Anderson. Fulton sends Anderson spine first towards Austin's knees. Austin is now in for Fulton. Austin takes out his folding card and slices Anderson with it. Fulton is back in, and both men repeat the double team spine buster from moments before. Anderson finds his footing with a spinebuster of his own. Gallows is tagged in. Gallows sends Austin off his feet with a fallaway slam. The Good Brothers are looking for the Magic Killer on Austin. Fulton stops that from happening. Austin catches Anderson with a spinning kick. Fulton lands a clothesline on Anderson for a near fall. Anderson kicks out at 2. Austin is back in. Both Austin and Anderson exchange blows. Austin sends Anderson down with a knee shot. Fulton sends Gallows into the guardrail on the outside. Gallows sends Fulton to the other side. The Good Brothers lock in the Magic Killer this time. Anderson goes for the pin. The Good Brothers win!

Back at Wrestle House, someone took The Deaners' beer! Johnny Swinger says at first that he's straight edge and that he didn't take the beer. He admits that's not true, he's on probation. Susie says no one should break their truce. John E. Bravo steps in to see Rosemary talking to Larry D. Swinger doesn't look too happy that Larry D is asking Rosemary out for a possible date next week.

Following the commercial break, we are back at the Wrestle House ring for Kylie Rae and Taya Valkyrie's match!

Kylie Rae vs. Taya Valkyrie (w/Rosemary as their referee)

Kylie Rae puts Taya Valkyrie in a waist lock then she drops her down on the mat. Valkyrie corners Rae and goes to town with a series of shots. Rae escapes the corner. Valkyrie lands a running elbow. Next, Valkyrie starts to bite Rae's hand. Rosemary turns away pretending not to see that. Rae finds her momentum with two midsection shots followed by an arm drag. Rae goes for a cover, Valkyrie kicks out at 2. Valkyrie is back up. She connects a suplex. Valkyrie goes for another pin. Rae kicks out again. Valkyrie charges toward Rae. Rae moves out of the way in time. Valkyrie almost runs into Rosemary. Valkyrie turns around, only to be caught with a superkick to the face. Rae goes for the cover and wins the match!

Winner: Kylie Rae

Post-Match: Rosemary tells Larry D that she'll see him next week. The Deaners' will continue their search on who stoled their beer.

Before the main event, Mathews announces night two of Emergence. Next week it'll be:

- Brian Myers vs. Willie Mack

- We find out why EC3 stoled the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

- Eddie Edwards will defend his Impact World Championship

- Lastly, Deonna Purrazzo will defend her Knockouts Championship in a 30-Minute Ironwoman match against Jordynne Grace

And now, our main event!

Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs. The North (Impact World Tag Team Championships)

Chris Sabin and Josh Alexander begin the match. Alexander slams Sabin into the corner. Sabin flies off the second rope to free himself away from Alexander's control. Sabin flies off the top with a crossbody. Alexander catches Sabin mid-air and sends Sabin towards his corner to tag in Ethan Page. Page sends Sabin headfirst into the turnbuckle before tagging in Alexander. Alexander smashes his boot into the back of Sabin's head. Page and Alexander exchange quick tags. Sabin fights out of The North's attacks. Sabin gets a tag to Alex Shelley. MCMG come together with a dropkick/DDT combination on Page. Alexander gets caught in the crossfire right before the commercial break.

Back from the break, Shelley and Alexander are the two men squaring off. Shelley tries to lock Alexander up. Page comes into the ring only to be sent out again. Alexander tags in Page. Page lands a series of knee strikes to Shelley's back. Page drives Shelley into the corner. Page throws in a shot before bringing Alexander back in. Alexander twists Shelley's ankle up. Sabin runs in. Page makes his way back in. Page positions Shelley up in a delayed vertical suplex. Alexander and Page switch off with double backbreakers on Shelley. Alexander goes for a lateral press pin and Shelley kicks out. Shelley rolls through and tags in Sabin.

Sabin comes flying in with a forearm followed by a neckbreaker on Page. Sabin heads to the top. Sabin lands a powerful missile dropkick on Page. Shelley holds on to Page. Sabin flies off the top rope again with another missile dropkick. Shelley just couldn't get the near fall on Page, who kicked out at 2. Shelley goes for Sliced Bread #2. MCMG go for the ASCS Rush, but The North blocks their chance with The Nothern Assualt. Their move just couldn't put Sabin down. Page superkicks Shelley. Sabin meets Page with a back elbow, then a DDT. Alexander catches Sabin in the jaw with a roundhouse shot. MCMG connect double superkicks on Page. Shelley is on top. Shelley flies on top of Page then rolls over to keep Alexander from coming into the ring. Sabin grabs the pin. MCMG retain their championships!
