Impact Wrestling Results: World Championship Main Event, Taya Valkyrie Vs. Rosemary, More

Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcome fans to Impact Wrestling! We kick things off with the birthday boy, Sami Callihan, taking on his most recent rival, Rob Van Dam!

Sami Callihan vs. Rob Van Dam (w/Katie Forbes)

Before the bell rings, Sami Callihan pushes RVD off the apron. Katie Forbes, who is bent over on the apron, looks horrified to see that Callihan is staring back at her. Callihan shifts his focus back on RVD. He jumps off the apron and sends RVD towards the guardrail. Forbes distracts Callihan by twerking in front of him. RVD gives Callihan a taste of his own medicine by shoving him towards the guardrail. Both men roll into the ring. Callihan pump kicks RVD in the face. RVD misses a split leg assault. Callihan takes a brutal kick from Forbes on the outside. RVD flies off the apron with a single kick drop.

Van Dam continues his attack with a few forearm strikes, but he misses his chance at connecting the Rolling Thunder. Callihan rolls through with a low cutter. He keeps his offense up with a strong clothesline in the corner. RVD smashes Callihan with a spinning kick, but he doesn't grab the pinfall on him. Callihan squashes RVD's face into the mat with a hangman DDT. Callihan goes for a cover, RVD kicks out at 2. Callihan puts RVD up in the Cactus Special position; Forbes climbs up on the apron and tries to distract him again. RVD rolls Callihan up. Callihan rolls through and reverses the roll onto RVD. RVD doesn't get his shoulders up in time, Callihan wins the match!

Winner: Sami Callihan

Post-Match: Callihan steps out of the ring to go chase after Forbes. RVD catches him on the side, then rolls him into the ring. Forbes brings in a chair. RVD places the chair on Callihan's face. While he holds it in place, Forbes slams into "The Death Machine" with two hip attacks. RVD finishes the job with a swift kick to Callihan's face.

After the opening match, Mathews and Rayne run through tonight's card!

Backstage: Fallah Bahh and Hernandez are just finishing up their arm-wrestling match before Reno Scum walks in. They inform Hernandez that Heath is nowhere to be seen. With a cheerful smile, Hernandez says if they can take out Rhino tonight, he'll give them their money.

Back from the commercial break, we head over to Wrestle House to hear from Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie and John E Bravo.

Valkyrie goes first. She feels betrayed that her manager and best friend went behind her back and pursued a relationship without her consent.

Next, we hear from Rosemary. She thought that Bravo could keep up between her and Valkyrie, but he couldn't.

Bravo concludes his interview by saying that he is confused and just doesn't know what to do.

Last week, Swinger lost in a "Loser Dresses Like The Winner" match against Crazzy Steve.

At the house, everyone is trying to get Johnny Swinger to come out of his room so they can see his new look. Everyone chuckles after they see Swinger in clown paint. The Deaners call him a rejected member of ICP.

While the rest of the group is laughing and picking on Swinger, Tommy Dreamer pulls Bravo aside and informs him that he'll be the special guest referee in Valkyrie/Rosemary's match tonight. Bravo looks very distraught.

We head back to the Impact Zone for more action!

Reno Scum vs. Rhino

Before Rhino even heads to the ring, Reno Scum meets him up on the ramp. Rhino takes both men off their feet with a series of jabs as the bell rings. In the ring, Luster The Legend smashes Rhino face-first into the turnbuckle. Rhino turns around to land a punch on Luster right before the commercial break.

We are back from the break. Luster tags in Adam Thornstowe, who comes in with a moonsault on Rhino. Thornstowe goes for a pinfall, Rhino kicks out at 2. Thornstowe tags Luster back in. Luster locks Rhino up in a side headlock. Rhino fights out of it with a few elbows to the midsection. He sends Luster over the top rope with a clothesline and then a Gore on the outside. As Thornstowe wraps his spike belt around his fist, a cameraman comes into the ring and lands a reverse DDT on Thornstowe to the ground. Rhino is confused as to why the cameraman did that. Instead of trying to figure out who it was in the moment, he crawls in, pins Thornstowe, and wins the match!

Winner: Rhino

Post-Match: The cameraman pops back into the ring to reveal himself. It's Heath! Scott D'Amore sends several security guards out to the ring to follow Heath after he makes his escape.

Backstage:Moose is sitting in a room, and EC3's face pops up on a monitor screen behind him. He warns Moose that he's going to destroy the TNA World Championship piece by piece. Moose finds someone and warns them that EC3 is going to destroy his belt. The man looks concerned at first, but once Moose leaves, he unbuttons his long sleeve shirt and reveals that he's wearing an EC3 "Control Your Narrative" shirt.

Backstage: The Good Brothers are telling a few guys in the back some funny stories of theirs. Dez and Wentz join in and let them know that they're facing their rivals Ace Austin and Madman Fulton tonight. Doc Gallows wishes them luck.

Back at Wrestle House, everyone is giving Bravo some advice on what to do about his dilemma. The Deaners confront Larry D about their missing beer. It looks like their truce pact is officially broken. Both teams throw each other towards the refrigerator and the walls. Dreamer gently calls out, "match time."

The Deaners Vs. XXXL

Acey Romero throws Cody Deaner onto the couch. Cody gets up and tries to grab the TV to throw at Romero. Dreamer stops him. He asks Cody to not break the TV because he needs to watch Impact each week. Cody agrees to not use the TV as a weapon. Instead, he and Romero compete in a ping pong match. Cousin Jake throws Larry D towards the wall. He charges towards Larry D, who is on the other side of the room. Cousin Jake starts to run in slow motion. Romero enters the shot and tells Larry D to move out of the way since he has all the time in the world to do it. Cody lands a DDT on Larry D, which transforms him into a fancier version of himself. Now, Susie gets involved. She hears that they all broke their truce, and she has a meltdown. Dreamer finds Susie, who is leaving the room that both teams were in. He asks her where they went; she quizzically looks at him. Dreamer decides to just award her the winner.

After that tag bout, we head back to the ring for another tag match!

Ace Austin & Madman Fulton vs. Rascalz (Wentz & Dez)

Madman Fulton and Dez kick things off. Dez slaps Fulton in the chest. Fulton shoves Dez into the corner before throwing him across the ring. Dez wraps himself around Fulton. Dez scoots over and tags in Wentz. Fulton flips Wentz around with ease. Fulton tags in Ace Austin. Austin comes in with a leg drop; it wasn't enough for Austin to get the pinfall.

Fulton distracts the referee as Austin brings out his playing card and slices Wentz's fingers with it. Fulton grabs Wentz and cuts his air supply with a chokehold. Fulton lets Wentz go. Wentz tags in Dez. Chaos ensues, as both teams are now in the ring. Wentz flies out of the ring with a dive on Fulton. Dez and Wentz send Fulton and Austin down and out with a Final Flash in stereo! Dez picks up the pinfall on Austin!

Winners: Rascalz

Post-Match: The Motor City Machine Guns come out and issue a "Slammiversay" re-match to the Rascalz. They say they'll put their titles on the line. Before Rascalz can answer whether they accept the challenge or not, Fulton and Austin attack the Rascalz from behind. The MCMG head down to the ring to come to the aide of Wentz and Dez.

Backstage: The Knockouts Champion, Deonna Purrazzo, is eyeing her co-workers and their attire. She wants to make sure each one of them is dressed appropriately for her celebration party. Moose comes running in and asks her and Kimber Lee if they've seen EC3 recently.

Backstage: Rohit Raju is shinning up his X-Division Championship. TJP comes in and tells Raju that he wants a shot at his title. Raju says if he retains his championship against Chris Bey (who's seeking to use his rematch clause), he'll give TJP a shot at his title.

We head back to Wrestle House to see Valkyrie and Rosemary's anticipated match.

Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary (Winner Takes All Match – With John E Bravo As Their Special Guest Referee

Taya Valkyrie throws a few insults towards Rosemary before their bout starts. The bell rings, and Valkyrie lands a hard elbow on the side of Rosemary's face. Both women collide in the middle of the ring with double pump kicks. Valkyrie gets up; she gets thrown into the turnbuckle face-first. Valkyrie turns around in time to catch Rosemary off guard. Valkyrie lands her Road to Valhalla finisher to win the match.

Winner: Taya Valkyrie

Post-Match: John E Bravo checks in on Rosemary. He reaches for something in his pocket. All of a sudden, Bravo gets down on one knee and presents Rosemary with a ring. He asks her to marry him. Valkyrie climbs back in the ring and tells Rosemary that she's ok with this. Rosemary accepts Bravo's proposal! Everyone on the outside rolls into the ring to celebrate. They all huddle up together and leave Wrestle House.

Everyone who wasn't part of Wrestle House is gathered around the ring to "celebrate" with Purrazzo.

Purrazzo thanks everyone for coming to her historic party. She admits that she isn't too keen on those attending, but she'll take whatever she can get. She and Lee toast in the middle of the ring. After taking a sip, she says that no one is going to ruin her night. She spoke too soon – here comes Jordynne Grace!

Grace walks down the ramp and says that she's not there to ruin her party; she's there to tell her to enjoy her title reign because it's not going to last. After she says that, Tenille Dashwood's music hits!

Dashwood is all smiles. She thinks everyone is there to celebrate her return. The camera pans over to those standing around the ring. They're all looking at each other in a puzzling way. Dashwood and Grace get into a tiff after Dashwood says that Grace's time as a contender for the title is over. As Grace heads up to confront Dashwood, the Wrestle House group teleports back to the Impact ring. Each member clears out, except for Susie and Kylie Rae.

Backstage: Gia Miller interviews Brian Myers. Next week, he's issuing a handshake agreement with Willie Mack. Moose interrupts his interview by asking if he's seen EC3. Myers says he hasn't, but he's extremely upset that Moose stoled his TV time.

Rayne and Mathews announce what's to come on next week's show:

- Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) will challenge MCMG for the Impact Tag Team Championships

- Madison Rayne will host "Locker Room Talk" with Kylie Rae and Susie

And now, our main event!

Eddie Edwards (c) vs. Eric Young (Impact World Championship)

Eddie Edwards sends Eric Young back into the corner with a series of elbow jabs. Young goes up and over on the apron. Young smashes Edwards' face onto the top rope. Their match will continue right after the break.

We're back from the final break of the broadcast. Edwards sends Young crashing down on the mat with a powerful clothesline. Both men meet on the outside of the ring. They make their way up on the apron. Young sends Edwards off the apron with a devastating neckbreaker. Young goes for a pin, Edwards kicks out at 2. Young goes for another neckbreaker and pin, Edwards kicks out again.

Edwards ducks the line and launches EY with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Both men are down, but they get back up on their feet by the 7th count. Edwards throws a series of shots. Young counters with a big boot. Young is sitting on the top rope. Edwards grabs Young for a backpack slam. Young fights Edwards off to head back to the top rope. He flies in with an elbow drop right on top of Edwards' heart. Young goes for a pin. Edwards kicks out at 2.5.

Following his kick out, Edwards flies over the top rope on EY. Edwards grabs his knee. Mathews believes he tweaked it during the landing. Young finds the World Championship and brings it into the ring. The referee grabs the title out of his hands. While the referee is putting the championship back where it belongs, Young smacks Edwards in the skull with his hockey mask. Edwards can't find his footing after that brutal attack. EY concludes the match with his signature piledriver. Young goes for a lateral press pin and becomes the new World Champion!

Winner: Eric Young

Post-Match: Young keeps attacking Edwards. Several men come down to break it up.

Before the show concludes, Moose walks into a room to see a board full of his pictures. It looks like EC3 will continue to play mind games with the Heavyweight Champion until he gets his way.
