Top ECW Star Injured, Rating Updates, & Lots More

According to at least one backstage source, Elijah Burke tweaked his back during his match against Chris Benoit this past Tuesday night on ECW on Sci Fi. We do not have an update on how bad the injury was and if it will require any down time.

Harley Race announced on his wrestling schools web site that he will be training the late "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig's son Joe to become a professional wrestler.

We've had snippets of WWE ratings news all week, however, we now have a full ratings report on every WWE show.

AM RAW on June 16th did a very solid 1.0 cable rating, with a 4.3 share.

Monday's edition of RAW from Richmond, Virginia did a 4.2 cable rating, with a 6.6 share. Hour one did a 4.1 while the second hour finished up with a 4.2.

This week's ECW on Sci Fi from Charlotte, North Carolina did a 1.6 cable rating, with a 2.7 share. That number is slightly down from the previous week's 1.7 cable rating; however, the show still continues an upward trend since the WWE Draft.

The worst rating that WWE did all week was last Friday's edition of SmackDown which only did a 2.4 broadcast rating, with a 4.6 share. With a lot of talent being sucked out of the show from the draft, WWE certainly faces an uphill battle to regain the show's audience.
