Tribute To The Troops Tapings, ECW Star In Reality Show, Loads More

This year's WWE Tribute to the Troops special will be taped in Baghdad, Iraq in December and air on NBC on 12/20 at 9PM ET.

WWE has moved up its tour of India, as it's now considered a prime market by the company. TV is now up to date as well, and Smackdown actually airs in India before North American viewers.

ECW Superstar Ricky Ortiz is slated to appear on the new Sci Fi series "Cha$e" next Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. after the ECW airing. Here is the description of the series, according to the Sci Fi website: The series concept, according to Sci Fi's website: Cha$e is an action-packed, edge-of-your-seat reality-competition show that pits a group of contestants against each other in the quest for cash prizes, while being stalked by relentless "hunters." The action takes place in real time over 60 minutes throughout various Los Angeles landmark locations including San Pedro Harbor, Universal Theme Park and Descanso Gardens. As the clock counts down, the competition gets harder as more hunters appear on the "game board," the perimeter changes, and tasks are assigned that test fraying nerves. Contestants earn money for every second they "stay alive." If they are overrun by a hunter, they lose everything. Once the exit point is revealed, the first person to find the location wins up to $50,000.

Speaking of Ortiz, following his win over Jon Davis on last night's edition of ECW on Sci Fi, he remains undefeated in singles competition at 6-0. Despite his winning streak, this was his first singles match on television in over two months. His last singles win came on September 2nd in a victory over SmackDown Superstar Ryan Braddock.

On the results page for last night's edition of ECW on WWE.com, Ortiz's opponent is simply dubbed as "local athlete." They wrote: "Ricky Ortiz remained undefeated, making short work of a local athlete with the devastating Big O." It also says: "Ricky Ortiz def. local athlete."
