Maria Lashes Out At Criticism, New Elvis Gimmick Dropped Already?

As noted earlier here on the website, starting January 9th at 10PM ET, MUN2 will begin running replays of the ECW on Sci-Fi show. MUN2 currently runs replays of WWE Monday Night Raw on both Wednesday night and Saturday night.

SmackDown Diva Maria posted a blog on the WWE Universe site responding to people criticizing her for not being a great wrestler. "I am not a person to respond to anger and cruelty but lately I have had such a hard time even getting on this site," Maria said addressing the criticism. "Mind you I do not claim to be the greatest wrestler or the quickest learner. I work hard, I get in the ring, (and) I try and still can't win. ... Wrestling is hard. I love it and that is what keeps me going. I love what I do." Maria added more on the negative comments. "If you want to be negative that is okay. I just can't read your comments cause negativity breeds negativity. I refuse to get down on myself. I could lose a million times and mess up a thousand things and as long as I love being out there I continue to march on."

SmackDown wrestler Ryan Braddock's "Elvis" gimmick has apparently been dropped already. At last week's Florida Championship Wrestling taping, he was back to his gimmick of wearing a skull cap & black vest. He still has the black hair and sideburns though. Braddock lost to Joe Hennig in a singles match. In other FCW news, Goldust appeared at last week's show. He beat Mike Kruel. The show also featured Beth Phoenix's number one fan Rosa Mendez and non-callup Hade Vansen in action.

The WWE site has posted photos of Batista's hamstring surgery yesterday.
