Mickie James Talks New Career, Sings On "Fox & Friends"

Mickie James continues to make the rounds promoting her debut country music CD, Strangers and Angels. This time, the former WWE diva took to Fox & Friends (why are all of her media appearances on FOX?) and talked about why she changed careers.

"I have kind of reached the pinnacle of wrestling? and I wanted to try something new," she told FOX & Friends. "It was something I had always dreamed of doing since I was a little girl."

She went on to talk about her influences growing up, citing Willie Nelson and Tim McGraw .

"My stepfather was a country music fan, and I grew up on a horse farm, so the older country, that's what he listened to," she said.

James went on to sing two songs from the album, including her debut single "Are You With Me" in FOXNews.com's Strategy Room studio. You can view the full video of James singing those songs by clicking here.
