Ziggler Has A New NXT Rookie, Lucha Libre USA News & Notes

– The total amount of wrestling action on this week's episode of NXT was 13 minutes and 3 seconds. The show was cut a little short though for unknown reasons.

– Dolph Ziggler won the WWE Pro Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge on NXT which allowed him to switch his Rookie with a fellow Pro. Ziggler dropped Jacob Novak and selected Byron Saxton as his new prot?g?. Chris Masters, who was affiliated with Saxton, then paired with Novak. The pairing, however, would be short-lived as Novak was elimination from the show later in the evening.

– Lucha Libre USA has announced a deal for local TV clearance in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Univision KLUZ-TV channel 41.

– While MTV2 has not announced the return of the promotion to TV, the company will have their next TV tapings in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 22nd and February 5th.

– Lucha Libre USA runs on January 20th in Highlands, CA at the San Miguel Indian Bingo & Casino.

– Announcer Lalo Gonzales is no longer under contract to Lucha Libre USA.
