The Reason Goldberg Is Returning To The Ring

TMZ recently spoke with Goldberg about his preparations to get back in the wrestling ring for the first time in seven years. The former world heavyweight champion told them that he has agreed to wrestle in a match in Africa next month. 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit various charitable organizations.

Goldberg has currently stepped up his workouts so he can be in the best shape possible.

"At this time, the only thing that would get me back in the ring is something that would positively impact those in need," said Goldberg. "If selling out another major event would allow me to bring a ship full of supplies to hand out to those in need, I'd say that would be very significant."
