– Chris Van Vliet, who works as the entertainment reporter for WOIO-TV in Cleveland, Ohio, recently interviewed Mickey Rourke and, as a wrestling fan, spoke with the Oscar-nominated actor about The Wrestler. Rourke said he still keeps in touch with many of the wrestlers who helped him prepare for his role in the movie, and said he'll randomly receive "crazy texts" from Ric Flair. He also said that he talks with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and both Vince and Stephanie McMahon. He noted that he had surgery on his biceps that wasn't done correctly, and Stephanie was talking with him about Triple H's experience with one of his surgeries.
