- You can check out the latest episode of UFC Primetime: St-Pierre vs. Hendricks above to get ready for their UFC 167 welterweight title fight, which is set for November 16.
- Top UFC fighter Dan Henderson revealed on The MMA Hour that his contract is coming to an end. Set to face Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 32 this Saturday, Henderson explained that he's hoping to re-up with the UFC. At 1-2 in his current stint though, the MMA veteran realizes that an impressive win will go a long way to improving his status in regards to negotiations.
"Yeah, I'm not planning on retiring and I'm not planning on going anywhere," said Henderson. "Coming off of two losses in my last two fights, that doesn't help for negotiating. So there's a little more pressure on this fight, but I'm pretty sure this fight will be exciting regardless."
Henderson expects that the UFC will re-sign him even on a loss, though he doesn't think it will be "as great a deal as I have now."
- Shortly after Antonio Rogerio Nogueira pulled out of a proposed bout with top light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson, the UFC announced that Jimi Manuwa would be stepping in as a replacement opponent against The Mauler. The two will face off on a March 8 fight card that will take place in London.
The opponent switch makes this an even more must-win fight for Gustafsson, whom many believed deserved an immediate rematch against champion Jon Jones after giving the title holder his toughest test to date. Manuwa is 3-1 in the Octagon, but won two of those fights when his opponent got injured. Stationed out of London, Manuwa will be enjoying the
hometown advantage against Gustafsson.
