UFC On FOX Bonuses & Attendance, Henderson Vs. Thomson Highlights, Headliner Retiring?

- Donald Cerrone, Alex Caceres and Sergio Pettis all took home $50,000 bonuses after last night's UFC on FOX 10 event.

Cerrone earned Knockout of the Night for his first round head kick knockout of Adriano Martins. Cerrone beat out three other victors that earned knockouts on the card. Caceres and Pettis were awarded Fight of the Night after battling back and forth for the majority of three rounds; Caceres earned two bonuses for his efforts last night, getting Submission of the Night after putting Pettis away with a rear naked choke.

UFC on FOX 10 went down at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

- UFC on FOX 10 drew an announced attendance of $10,895 for a live gate of $863,655. The fight card featured a main event between top lightweights Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson. In typical fashion, Henderson eked out a close split decision over Thomson that has been the source of controversy since it was announced.

- With a history of close calls in title fights and long injury delays, last night's controversial decision might have been the frustrating last straw for MMA veteran Josh Thomson. At the UFC on FOX 10 post-fight press conference last night, Thomson – who broke his hand early in the fight – vented his anger over the decision.

"This fight, I feel like I won. And I won with one hand," Thomson said. "I beat the former UFC champion, a guy who was there for two years, and I beat him with one hand. That's what pisses me off."

It's come to the point of frustration that Thomson is considering walking away from the sport for good.

"I love the sport. I don't want to stop," he said. "I still want to be around it. But everybody needs to know that their time has come. Maybe it's not mine right now, but I also don't want to be that person who fights until they don't know when it's time to quit."

The loss halts the momentum that Thomson was building with the second-round head kick knockout of Nate Diaz he scored last April.
