UFC Fight Night 56 Results: Was This Shogun Rua's Last Fight?

It's possible that we saw the end of a legendary career Saturday night, as former champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua was finished in the first round at UFC Fight Night 56 vs. Ovince St. Preux. The bout took place on FOX Sports 1 from Brazil, and the crowd immediately filed out after the decision.

Rua entered a heavy favorite, as St. Preux took the bout on just a few days notice. Jimi Manuwa was injured and officials moved St. Preux from the co-main to the headline bout. He landed with a left hook while backing up that dropped Rua, following up with several punches before the contest was stopped.
