Daniel Cormier Wants To Rid MMA Of Jon Jones, UFC 182 Extended Preview, Robbie Lawler's Next

- You can watch the extended UFC 182 preview above. We'll have full, live coverage of the event here on Wrestling Inc on January 3.

- Top light heavyweight contender Daniel Cormier spoke about his huge upcoming fight with champion Jon Jones, their problems, and wanting to get Jones out of the sport. When asked about what really started their bad blood, Cormier pointed at an issue from years ago.

"This is what I've wanted for years, since I met Jon. When I met him in 2010, our first interaction was unpleasant. He insulted me, so he gave me material and I put his picture on the wall and I have been looking at it since then. I want to beat him in his prime. This has been a goal for four years," Cormier said.

Though Cormier expects to beat Jones, he also expects the current champion to get an immediate re-match for the championship. But he expects his win to force Jones out of MMA eventually.

"I think he falls back in the pack. He'll get a rematch, but he'll fall back. Once he knows he can get beat and no one is scared of him, he won't win ten in a row anymore. He'll win some and he'll lose some. He'll go searching for answers and move to heavyweight. It'll put doubt and questions in his head. He'll come out a different man. He might need to be convinced to take the rematch. He'll lose to me and his career will go in a tailspin. I'm looking to rid MMA of Jon Jones

- It was reported on UFC Tonight that Rory MacDonald said that he's not getting the next shot at newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. According to MacDonald, the UFC called him last week and told him that he wouldn't be fighting for it. It was noted that Johnny Hendricks' manager said that they haven't heard anything yet in regards to a trilogy fight with Lawler.
