- Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson will seek his first win inside the Bellator cage when eh meets Patricio "Pitbull" Freire in the main event of Bellator 160. The bout was first reported by the LA Times for the August 26 event from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Henderson (23-6) dropped his first bout in the Bellator cage to welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov via decision. Freire (25-3) will be moving up from featherweight for the contest, as he is 13-3 overall with the promotion.

The card will also be part of a combat sports doubleheader, as Premier Boxing Champions puts on a bout between Robert Guerrero and David Peralta at the same site.

- Sean Santella will need to wait a little bit longer to make his UFC debut. The flyweight was tabbed as a short-notice replacement to face Wilson Reis at UFC 201 this month, but he has posted on social media that officials will not allow him to compete.

Santella (15-5-1) was set to replace Demetrious Johnson, the reigning UFC flyweight champion, vs. Reis (20-6) at the July 30 card after "Mighty Mouse" bowed out with an injury. No word yet if the UFC will be able to find a replacement for Santella.
