- UFC 219 finally has a main event. The UFC announced on Twitter that women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will face former women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm in the annual year-end card on Dec. 30. It was originally believed that negotiations for this fight had stalled, with Holm's manager saying talks were "dead," but they were able to come to an agreement on Thursday. Cyborg (18-1, 1 NC) won the vacant title in July when she defeated Tonya Evinger viz third-round TKO at UFC 214. Holm (11-3) is coming off a third-round knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC Singapore in June.
