10 Moments That Solidified Bayley As A WWE Star

The match for the NXT Women’s Championship between Sasha Banks and Bayley is quite possibly one of the best matches in both competitors' careers. The match not only stole the show that night in Brooklyn, but probably changed the direction of women’s wrestling, with even HOFer Mick Foley praising the women for the 18-minute match.
NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn
This Iron Woman rematch for Sasha Bank’s title against Bayley achieved legendary status thanks to the match that the two women put on, and also by having multiple most-replayed moments. With moments like Banks taunting Bayley’s superfan Izzy until she cried, to Bayley getting slammed onto a LED board, the match redefined women’s wrestling.
NXT TakeOver: Respect
When the two-on-one alliance of Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooks proved too extreme for Sasha, she brought Bayley — her biggest foe from NXT — to help even the odds. The NXT Women’s Champ Bayley received an enormous ovation when her music hit when she arrived and the duo finally defeated Flair and Brooks.
WWE Battleground 2016
After Asuka defeated Bayley for the NXT Women’s Champion, the rematch once again provided an excellent exhibition of complete dominance from Asuka. After the match, everyone knew it was Bayley’s last match on NXT and she stood in the ring, soaking up the long ovation before moving on to better things.
NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II
After multiple matches with WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte, Bayley captured the title for the first time in her career in her first-ever Raw main event match. The “Hugger” and the “Queen” threw everything at each other in this 18-minute match before a Bayley-to-Belly secured the victory and the title for the future “Damage CTRL” leader.
