16 Elimination Chamber Matches WWE Fans Will Never Forget
By SHANE O'NEILL
No Way Out 2008
The match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the No Way Out PPV is special because it consisted of members of both "SmackDown" and "ECW" rosters. Of the six men competing, the Undertaker emerged victorious and went on to have an incredible match with the Heavyweight champion Edge at WrestleMania 24.
Elimination Chamber 2015
The 2015 edition of the PPV is the only Elimination Chamber match where an Intercontinental Championship was contested. Sheamus, King Barrett, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Mark Henry competed inside "Satan’s Structure," only for Ryback to pick up the gold, although the match itself wasn’t that great.
Elimination Chamber 2021
The 2021 Elimination Chamber PPV offered an immediate title match with Roman Reigns for his Universal Championship. Daniel Bryan was declared the winner in this hard-fought match, and immediately Reigns came down to the ring and defeated an exhausted Bryan in less than two minutes to retain his title.
Elimination Chamber 2013
The 2013 edition of Elimination Chamber had six competitors against each other for a chance to face Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 29 for the Heavyweight title. The up-and-coming Jack Swagger won the EC match and faced Del Rio at WM 29 where he failed to win the title, heavily impacting his momentum.
Elimination Chamber 2012
The 2012 chamber match featured Santino Marella (mostly known for his comedic acts) along with five other competitors for a shot at the World title. Marella came very close to winning the match, with Daniel Bryan and him being the last two wrestlers standing before "The Milan Miracle" was defeated.
