Every Ric Flair WWE WrestleMania Match Ranked Worst To Best
By BRIAN HOGLUND
6. WrestleMania 23
It’s a shame that a wrestler of Ric Flair’s status was booked in a tag match in the WrestleMania 23 pre-show, and to make matters worse, his partner Carlito made waves by lashing out about the match in an interview. The match is rarely discussed and is one of Flair’s most forgettable WM appearances.
5. WrestleMania XX
After The Rock returned to help Mick Foley get revenge against the Evolution (Flair, Orton, and Batista), the handicap match between the Evolution and The Rock 'n' Sock Connection (Rock and Foley) was announced. Foley and the Rock dominated most of the match, but Evolution picked up the win in the end, although Flair didn't have much of a role here.
4. WrestleMania X8
Following Flair’s comments on Undertaker’s attack on the Rock on the road to No Way Out in 2002, Undertaker faced Flair in a No Disqualification match in WrestleMania X8. Although Flair wasn’t very confident to step into the ring with the Undertaker, the two legends put on a spectacular 20-minute match.
3. WrestleMania 22
Ric Flair entered the WrestleMania 22 Money in the Bank match at 57 but didn’t act his age, nor did he pull any punches, and although Matt Hardy superplexed Flair off the top of the ladder, Flair returned heroically later on. Flair didn’t win the match, but his actions in the match defied his age.
2. WrestleMania 8
After Flair won the WWF Championship in the 1992 Royal Rumble, WWF cooked up an angle that Flair had dated Randy Savage’s wife Miss Elizabeth before her marriage to Savage. The legends put on a clinic of a match, but in the end, Savage rolled up Flair to win the WWF Championship.
